Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian who has been around for some time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. She's appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, or Aisling "Bea", is a famous Irish actor and writer. Born on March 16, 1984. Bea first began her career in stand-up comedy in 2011, following small parts that she acted for Irish and British television dramas from 2009. In 2012, she was frequently appearing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. In the wake of her success during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel shows. Between 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, in addition to being a performer of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Her parents were Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. In 2012, she was the second woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea is her maiden name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian is an equine veterinarian who took his own life at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she turned thirteen. To honor her dad, she took the stage-name Bea and, in the year 2017, she wrote an article on suicides that affected her family for The Guardian. Bea and her sister Sinead was raised in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Her family were in love with racing meetings and horses. As a young girl, Bea was a tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early stage that she was not keen on the sport of racing as a career and instead enjoyed performing.
